We have been in the Cotswolds for fifteen years and have had great pleasure exploring the charming towns and villages, the houses and gardens and the countryside.

There are lovely walks, and we are keen to share our discoveries and to encourage our guests to make discoveries of their own.

Burford is a wonderful town, only half an hour from Oxford, with its famous High Street sweeping down to the River Windrush, its historic collection of buildings and cathedral-like church begun in 1175.

There is also a range of antique, craft and specialist shops unequalled, in our view, in the whole of the Cotswolds.

Centred between the historic University town of Oxford and Stratford-on-Avon, birthplace of Shakespeare and home of the theatre that bears his name, we are an easy drive from both.
